Tick Paralysis - Sad day

My condolences as well. I just had to put my best friend Tiger down on Sunday. Pretty much out of the blue he went from fine to unresponsive rag doll over the course of a day. But he had a fairly long and happy life, and I'm gonna try to remember that.

Thanks all again. Our girl Lola is missed. We have finally gotten rid of the dishes and dog bed etc.... We still miss her and wish she was here. She wouldn't have wanted to be around without a quality of life.

The stuff she put up with from my two boys was amazing.

maybe in the fall or spring we'll start the search again.

Missing Lola is good for the heart.

She is gone, but not forgotten.
Putting away her dishes, bed, toys etc was a good thing. That is the first thing I did when Reba passed. I made a memorial wreath and put it by the tree she collapsed at.
I took it down and put it in the same memorial spot by the house where we were remembering another Dobe we lost after I adopted my new Dobe Skye. Adopting Skye was the best thing I did. She keeps me busy so I don't have time to cry about Reba. I can see Reba in Skye's loving eyes. Sometimes I wonder why we keep adopting new dogs since we know we will have to go thru another death someday. Skye is the 7th Doberman I have had in 25 years, probably not the last either.

So sorry for your loss, they grow on us so quickly. I had a lab that my 2 yr old would pull on his lip to stand up, he just loved that little guy so much, never left his side for 16 years, my son had to bury him, and realized what a true friend he had lost
