The casino and hotel have separate water systems.....It really sucks for folks who had rooms booked, as the yoop was the only place with decent snow....We stayed there the last 3 years and had a great time with our annual group ride. The rate is excellent, you have food, and gas, and of course some entertainment (gambling), after a day on the trails..This is the first year we didn't book there...we chose to try something new, go a new direction, and of course now we are sweating bullets as the areas we chose are a bit thin on snow...watersmeet was our back up plan....Maybe some good can come from this??..Some upgrades, updates etc...I certainly won't hesitate staying there..Lots of good people work there and they love snowmobilers....I will admit the hotel has been a bit run down lately...but I've stayed at worse in the U.P. (you know you have too...lol)...So let's cut them a break...stuff happens...its sucks if you had rooms booked..However on a positive side...there are plenty of rooms in northern Wisconsin, and if we get this storm Tuesday into Wednesday..the trails could be real nice...so keep your eyes on the next system, and book accordingly.
