Yep, nothing new other than what cat already showed, which wasn't much to start with.

If there was ever a year to roll something out new, this would be it, and they both did nothing.

I don't think anyone is surprised. I know I'm not...just disappointed. Loved Yamaha for decades...now I've ordered 3 Doo's in two years. The more manufacturers the better in my opinion. Competition gets us all nice new advancements.

I totally agree with you, Yamaha gave it up 10 years ago imo. Ever since then they've just been stroking it. Sad, but so.

You want eps you got it lots more models without eps so not a standard feature on all SWs. Imo exactly what I expected more Yamacats some have eps. These 2 OEMs are in up to their collective necks can’t separate the 2 any longer one from the other. I expect more of the same for the foreseeable future not sure what happens to Totally Yamaha a great website it sure ain’t totally Yamaha anymore.

Poo and Doo, will continue to gain market share, as AC, and Yamaha squander themselves away. Very sad.

I feel terrible for the true blue Yamaha fans, and dealers that keep hanging on...it's embarrassing really..NO 850? No 600? No new chassis...just EPS on the sidewinder??? Don't get me wrong..I loved EPS on my Apex..but this is just perfume on a pig (ok a cat...lol)....and BNG...ALSO..they took 20 lbs out of the seat of a mountain max, and made it 20 lbs lighter..thus it gets a new name for a lighter weight mountain sled....lol...SMH...you can't make **** this up. "Yamaha could really be a player if they wanted to"....Isn't that what we have heard every year? 10 straight years of disappointment....I'll stick with Ski Doo...Yamaha fans...get off that sinking ship...I did...and I do NOT regret it.

Yamaha's main focus is now robotics, along with drone technology, and electric transportation...gasoline powered recreation is fading for them...their atvs/utvs were once the best. (They let that line up get stagnant too), and they are way behind can am and polaris in that form of recreation...even their motorcycle line up is non inspiring. Anymore...but hey...that new electric bicycle is cool...NOT....They've been taken over by a bunch of tree hugging hippies...while developing new and cool ideas for the future...they forgot what got them there..and that was motorized recreation, and the loyal people who bought their products......Everybody I know who was a loyal yamaha snowmobile owner...owned a wave runner, a yamaha utv/atv, or bike...and some had generators, lawn mowers, and even yamaha stereo systems...they took their loyalty to the extreme....watching yamaha (and cat ) half *** it in our sport is hard to watch...both are way behind ski doo and polaris in suspension, handling, and engine options....there is no longer one yamaha or cat that is "best in class"...the viper was a great 130 hp class sled...but doo just released its replacement in the 130 low boost turbo...as an educated 4 stroke buyer there is ZERO reason for anyone to buy a viper over the new ski doo. The ski doo will ride better, handle better, and be faster (with a stronger midrange)...AND...twice the amount of accessory options...So who is still buying YAMAHAs? ...again it's sad to watch...I want so bad for yamaha to come with something awesome...it would be great for our sport..but what I see now is two companies (textron and yamaha)...that just don't care about snowmobiling anymore..(or motorized sports for that mater)...there is zero pride...if I owned a yamaha dealership...id be screaming for heads to roll in japan....FIRE THEM ALL...and get some new blood in there...they forgot their roots....they are lost.

I was a long time Yamaha guy but got tired of being passed by sleds with suspensions and wrenching on them constantly. The engines are great but other things nickel and dime you to death. The five year warranty is a life ring.

The 2022 Sidewinder is the same as the 2017 Sidewinder. Except for EPS. Whoopie. Doo has something new every year. Pol jumped back in hard. The one big thing they had going for them - reliability - is gone. Time to move on.

Yep...us old yami guys made the after market suspension guys rich the last 20 years...but I'll admit...I liked buying 8DN belts, that would last 10,000 miles at 59 dollars a pop (back in the day)....shoot I'd change them every 4,000 miles just because..NEVER blew one on an apex...that is about the only thing I wish doo would learn from yamaha .(that and headlights that are actually decent)..those doo belts are pricey...and not as tough as those old 8 DN'S
