momoney I agree with you 100%. They had to do something different but didn't, couldn't or something. Poor coaching on the Bears part. They tried to replicate what the Lions did a week ago and that shows you the difference between the Lions front 4 and the Bears.

yep especially when we were shorthanded on the line without ratliff and allen. O well need to move on and get better.

looks to me like both packers and lions have easier games at home vs weaker opponents. Would like to see Minnesota give them a game tonight, but assume both lions and packers win. Bears are playing carolina at a good time with their injuries. Slauson, garza, allen, ratliff, mcmanis are back practicing after being out last week. Also 1st time in 3 weaks marshall practiced without limitations. need to keep pace with a W.

Wow, watched first half, looked like Bears were in control. Came back in the end to watch them loose it. Breaks my heart. ;) lol
Lions blew it too with 3 missed fg's!

I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. It's only been 5 games whitedust...

didnt get to watch the game so tuff to comment. Only thing I seen was 21-7 lead vanish. Yup only 5 games in. I said if the bears are 4-4 they have a shot as the 2nd half is much more favorable. See what happens. Throwing in the towel now is weak sauce and cowardly.

Hard to ignor the Cutler pick pattern same ole Cutler game to game year to year. Look at upcoming Bear schedule & I can only spot 5 more wins if that...Ok with me for you to keep the faith but I have little hope for a Bears winning season. Trestman out coached again also a pattern. Da Bears just are not a good NFL team.

Bears only chance of winning is having their offense operating at a high rate, their defense just isn't good enough. Cutler is a descent NFL quarterback, but we need an elite QB with this team to win; we just don't have it. I hope something changes but its looking like its the same old same old. On a good note I purchased a tunnel bag for $40 yesterday!

Yeah they had to cut that kicker, yikes he was bad.
An interesting fact about the Bears, in the last 18 games they are 7-11. They started out with 3 wins last year and after that point have .388 winning percentage. Also, they have more turnovers than points in the second half of the last 2 games. They need to get something rolling, there's a lot of players making big bucks that are not delivering.

its simple. When they win turnover battle they are undefeated under trestman. Gota get rid of the bad plays. This week I feel is the turning point in the season. Either go left with a win and .500 and improve on turnovers or go right and drop to 2-4. Like I said before the 2nd half of the season is very winnable. Listening to cutler talk yesterday and how disapointed he is in himself and the bad plays that over ride all the good ones, he graded his play as a C and owned the losses, which I like. 70% completion percentage 12 tds and 6 picks, 94.9 QB rating, is pretty good. Just cant have those REALLY bad plays. They ARE correctable. If u subtract the 3 bone headed plays this year, he is in MVP talk and has a 115 QB rating.

Getting rid of bad plays would be nice, of course every player wants that. But, Cutlers sample size is too large and he is what he is. You can't discount over 100 games and his overall work. He does have a descent QB rating, which puts him at 13 in the league. But, its gets back to his INT, which is tied for tops in the league also. But I agree, get rid of dumb plays (not all his fault) and he would dramatically improve the team.
Also, the Bears special teams are pure and simple a joke. They are an embarrassment to the team. Please, on kickoffs just get a touchback would be a victory!
