Could very well be Cutler is as good as he will be may improve a bit but he is what he is at this point in time. I have seen enough to want to move on than eek out a little more from Jay. Not sure who to go to next year maybe the draft keep Jay develop young gun with legs. Jay in a rut & Bears in that rut with him both need to move on.

Seen enough time to draft a QB....Agree Cutler will have to do for now he is stuck with Bears & Bears are stuck with him....phase him out & improve the team. No idea how this year will end up for Bears but Pack still best of the North so no great expectations for Bears this year Bears probably end up 2 or 3 in North depending if Detroit gets hot which could happen.

yea I agree packers have advantage, I dont think they have the best team but they have the best QB, who covers up alot of the bad for his teammates. I bet the division comes down to the wire again between 2 of the 3. Dont see a wild card team out of nfc north this year. Arizona, san fran , seattle look like playoff teams and dallas and philly r lookin pretty good.

I meant to tell you that I admire your tenacity and dedication. You have been getting a lot of poking and prodding on this thread and man, you are just in there taking it and dishing it out as an unwavering Bears fan. You're gonna hang in there until week 16 no matter what we throw at you.

Now, about Cutler......

haha I guess ill take that as a compliment.

Every previous year cutler always has that "rex grossman" type game where he throws up a 30 qb rating.

His ratings this year are 86.2, 119.2, 94.7, 82.5, 95.5, and 109.6. A 97.4 average. Just cant live with those 3 horrible descisions. He is clearly improving under trestman. He still has only 16 or 17 starts under trestman. Trestman must beat into his head, the game bears won, 0 pics. 3 games bears lost 2 pics. Coaching can help eliminate those bad plays. Mark my words, his best play of his career is coming.

And that's the entire point, a great QB covers up a lot of bad from a team. Jay rarely does that and usually causes a lot of bad on the offense. An average QB can put up big numbers on this Bears team. The stars only align so often and its now for the Bears. Stats show that Rodgers gets hit just as much or more the cutler but still puts up numbers. On a player for player basis, the Bears dominate the packers offense so we should be seeing a better offensive output.

im not expecting jay to put the team on his back like rodgers has done with the packers. They have an extremely mediocre roster year in and year out but win 10 games or more becuase rodgers is an A+ QB, without him they are bottom of the barrel, thank god the GM up there doesnt sign free agents often. All jay has to be is a top 10 QB. And come playoff time he has the talent to outgun any QB in the NFL. That is when u hope he pulls a joe flacco type run. No one knows what will happen. People on here think they know that they are a 8-8 team, but that is impossible to know. Remember everyteam in the NFL is one injury away from a dumpster fire. Lets see what happens.

I can't believe the Seahawks traded Harvin to the Jets! Is it April 1st?

Trestman now 11W 12L lifetime with the Bears lucky to be 500 if Bears can beat Pat's before the bye. Cutler not improving same mistakes...3 more Ls & the Bears are done & might as well start playing Clausen at QB see how well he does? Sounds like the team is fed up with Cutler mistakes as well too much O talent to always shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers. Terrible game if a Bears fan. :(

Problems in the locker room are never good! Players pick sides and you have a divided team. Ask the Seahawks. LOL

As a fan you see how a player acts on the field ...does he get fired up when they score?.... does he charge to line ready to compete? Too me Cutler has always been a sourpuss leader. Long would be slapping Forte on the back everytime he scored...not so much anymore ...the Bears look emotionaly flat as a team & this is a Cutler/Trestman/Briggs problem....Where is the player leadership except for Marshall? Allen was always a guy with a good motor a rah rah talking player...not so much with the Bears. Something is wrong.... this team does not get fired up & they have to play with desire to win. Not at all sure why??

Yea I dont know. I wana see what cutler has to say about it at 2pm on waddle and silvy show.

The team needs to meet hash things out point fingers....talk it out ...figure it out. Trestman needs to make changes & Cutler may be a necessary change just to show you don't paly well you ride the bench. Wake everybody up performance is graded each game.

Yea they gota right the ship. Too much talent to be that bad. It starts with trestman, then cutler. Defense wasnt good, but good enough to win. 14 points is unacceptable. If they cant pull a win off this week, its gona spiral out of control I feel.

With the wins the Bears have had they just can't seem to beat top rated teams only the bottom dwellers ...it all started with the Bills just were out played. Da Bears are built around O production & D just needs to hang in there but O not doing their part need to score points. As I said before not any easy wins for the Bears the Vikings could beat them....could be a real bad season for them unless they get a spark ....maybe Clauson? Have Jay sit down not winning with him surley would shake players up to see him sit due to bad performance.

Tough game yesterday, just plain ugly.
1. Offense was just brutual
2. Cutler consitency is his inconsistency, you ll never win with him being all over the board.
3. Maybe its time for the bears to NOT play in a park, grow up and play in a NFL stadium with a professional field. That grass, like usual, is an embarrassment. High schools have better fields than the bears.
4. Too much talent on offesne to be playing like this, defense is playing like we expected - average; but we should be winning games with an average defense.
5. Teams have figured out how to beat the bears, bend but dont break defense. Make the bears work their way down the field and they will make mistakes.
6. Coaching needs a lot of help.
