this just in Andrew luck is really good.
Luck was definitely NOT on his A game last night. But he has a good head on his shoulders and is a leader. That's what seperates him from QB like Cutler. Not to mention he doesn't get hurt every time someone pushes him down, like Cutler does.
JMO but the problem is NOT Trestman. Cutler is a terrible leader, Marshall likes playing the blame game, Allen hasn't done much. The Bears have Forte and that's it.
Looks to me like you guys have a GM problem.
I think you answered your own question. Teams are allowing Forte to get his yards and small yard catches and taking away the big plays. Every defense understands that if they make the Bears try to sustain a long drive they will turn the ball over or make mistakes. Cutler is not a long drive type of person, he makes too many mistakes ( as have the rest of the offense). Forte is a very good back but hes not an elite back who can really break a lot of tackles. His longest run of the year is only 19 yards. So for defenses, let Forte get his but slow down the receivers and guess what, you have a 3-5 team.
They dont run the ball tho, hardly at all, if they did with success they would force teams to abandon the soft coverage looks. Teams play 3 deep and cutler checks down to forte alot. Also calling plays where cutler sits in the pocket. Another strength of his is rolling out and throwing on the run. Something they have done very little this year. It just has seemed trestman is letting the defenses bait cutler into his weaknesses. Instead of using cutler to his strengths. thats what good coaching does. Cutler isnt perfect by any means, but i just have hated how he has been used thus far. He is a gunslinger, so letting him sling it 45 freaking times a game, can and will backfire. He thinks he can make everyplay. Even when 3 deep coverage doubles marshall or jeffrey and he decides not to check it down. Rolling out and running the ball is cutlers best friend. Look what it has done to romo's play. Him and cutler are very similiar IMO.
I agree with ya on running the ball. It seems that the Bears want to throw the ball to set up the run, instead of running the ball to set up the pass. Every time they get behind, even by marginal amounts they start slinging the ball. And I agree 100%, trestman is allowing defenses to dictate the play of Cutler and our offense. The play calling has been poor, at best. This team has WAY too much money and talent on offense for this type of production.
we should see a whole new game plan I would think. If they pass the snot out of the ball in the pocket, im just gona shake my head, win or lose. Weather could be a factor. Cold and snow possible. That should help the bears limit rodgers throwing the ball IMO. Bears +7 and under 53.5.
guess not
Ummmm, there are 32 teams. Always have to remember the consistent losers of the NFL, the Raiders!

I think momoney meant to keep the Pack under 53.5, it almost happened!
Besides the play on the field, the Bears management is looking extremely bad right now. The press conferences with Trestman and Emery are terrible and embarrassing. Deciding not to fire anyone will just keep the mess going for longer, did they not see what has happened the last two weeks. Shake it up and start the process of moving on from this. It wont be easy but why wait?
I heard GSH gravestone moved on Sunday night ..lol.. Yep agree Trestman was a mistake fire his butt & move on not doing so just delays what has to happen. The resulting team play can't be worse than we have seen & Da Bears could get a super draft choice & draft a stud QB. Time to rebuild... this season is over. If the Vikings smoke the Bears on Sunday Trestman must go...What is the point of keeping him now?????
