Bear power rankings but to me too early to know..... are the Bears the team that beat 49ers or lost to Bills? lol

if they stay healthy be fine. One number I DO like is the bears have only given up 6 pts in 2nd half in 2 games. Im a little worried about the jets as they have #1 run defense and #1 running game. And given they had the packers beat in Lambeau. Plus back to back prime time games arent the greatest, especially being on opposite sides of the country.

Jets are improved so will be a good Monday night game both teams are better on paper than last year. Good measuring stick for Bears have to beat Jet type teams to make playoffs.

In response to Momoney, I was at that game and Lambeau ain't the place it used to be. They lose on a regular basis now at home. The game really sucked until the second half. My wife wasn't feeling good and we almost laft after the 1st quarter they were that bad. I hope the coaches can figure out a way to get our guys pumped up, they are getting outcoached at every position.

the thing with the packers and Lambeau, that team is not built to win in lambeau come playoff time. Usually not favorable passing conditions that time of year. But the same could be said right now for the bears. I wonder if these GMs take that into account. Altho that niner packer game last year was tight when I thought the niners style was gona blow them out in that weather.

Well maybe they will get a top 3 draft pick and draft the next AP?
Yes, I guess we could look forward to that. The bad thing is I'm also a Reds fan and am watching them get beat by the lowly Cubs, and if that isn't bad enough, my Hawkeyes look like crap this year too. It's going to be a long season for sure....

First off he WAS the first rated RB this year in ESPN"s fantasy magazine this year. And he was 1-2-3 in all the others. So your claim of being washed up is way off base.
Secondly he has zero yards in week 2 cuzz he DIDN'T PLAY.
Yes he won't win rushing record because he's suspended...you do know that correct?
You say team D is the 2nd most important position and then you say you'd much sooner watch the colts? HUH? They have no D. It's all Andrew Luck.
Yes if the vikes get down by more that 10 they're probably done but that has absolutely nothing to do with AP.
And you're also telling me 10,500 of his career yards is because of the division he's in. LOL...that's comical.

Peterson getting older by the day. Not even first rated fantasy RB anymore. Had 80 yards first week and 0 second week. Season 1/8 over. Very unlikely to win rushing record this season. Peterson may have been league MVP but never Superbowl MVP. Never will be. QB far and away most important position. After that team defense. After that an RB if you have one. One that can block and catch a pass and doesn't fumble at the worst times. I would much sooner watch Seattle or the Colts. I know they both lost last weekend but there is always the chance to win with both of these teams - right until the end even if they are down. If the Vikes get down more than 10 points they are done league MVP or not. Also many of Peterson's yards have come against North division foes. Over the last few years all those D's have been below average. He never would have the yards he does if he played in the NFC west. Sorry, not a fan. Even before the scandals.

you are spot on!!
the game has shifted from 2 yards and a cloud of dust to spacing and getting smaller faster rb's in space in mismatch positions to exploits the defenses. chip Kelly does a good job of that.
I;ve always said WR's are like souped up rims on a car. they're nice and all but do you really need to have the best? give me a stud back and a couple of complementary wr's and I'll be fine.

Eagles RBs broke the game wide open last night & pulled out a come from behind win over Colts. Small & quick makes huge & strong look like slow motion vs fast forward. Getting a running game to work opens up the O to be able to do more things well. To me the the RB postion is very under valued in the draft lots of good WRs available but that will change as league starts to see value in RBs again. Saints 0-2 without Sproules bad move not resigning him.

Saw this on internet thought it was funny. I kno..I kno..its not rodgers fault the packers cant beat san fran and the only reason the bears won was not jay, it was all marshall and the defense:p

Haha I got a million of those. Not trying to start that direction. U can say what u want about jay and his play, but toughness can not be critized. Anyone who saw that hit against san fran and he got back up was unreal. He took a beating in years prior to trestman and new oline. Kinda reminded me of the beating rodgers was taking against the jets. If he keeps getting hit that many times.....good luck to his health.

IMG_7944.jpg Boy I sure miss the blank stare from lovie!! NOTTTTT.

Honorable mention to josh mccown. Happy he got paid, cause he is a good guy, but he is a backup. Thank you phil emery for ignoring the blind bears fans who actually thought mccown was half the qb of cutler.

Side note, what is up with hester. I hate to speculate, but its hard not to think he is on some kind of PEDs. Last year he was not even close to that fast. Maybe because he was pisses about lovie, but dang he looked like he was 21 again.

Agree 100%, McCown is not nearly as good as Cutler. He looked good with the Bears because you do not need to be a great QB to be successful with all the weapons the Bears has. This isnt ripping on Cutler by any means but the talent we have on offense can make the majority of QB's in the NFL look descent.

and trestman is QB friendly. Sometimes there are just situations that are a perfect fit. He played out of this world for what 5 games. Still dont think he coulda done that for a season.
Some good games this weekend glad bears play monday, I wana watch the packer/lion game and the seahawk/bronco game.

Going to be along year in Tampa. Mccown had no protection & will not make it thru the year getting pounded like that.....glad he is getting some lean green he is going to need it for doctor bills.

Chance for bears to make a statement tonight. As lions and packers looked awful yesterday.
Team power rankings are changing some teams much better some much worse ...the DA Bears just don't know yet? Lions & Packers flip a coin any given Sunday. Seahawks & Broncos top teams both better than last year.....could be some sleepers that turn it on in last 8 games but if Hawks stay healthy going to SB again.

Watch out for the cardinals, they are way underated. If palmer comes back healthy they are tuff. Lions tried to give that game away yesterday. I think seattle was better last year, not as physical front 7, san diego torched them. Denver is better tho. If that games on a nuetral field, denver wins. Denver much more physical than last year. Seattle still best team, but that division is wide open along with NFC north ans NFC south. Get seattle on the road they are VERY beatable.

This is a big game for the Bears, not a must win by any means but it will be interesting to see how well they play. I expect a good showing and the bears offense to play well. The Jets Defense can be beat.

San Francisco has to be close to panic mode! Who would have guessed they'd be 1-2?

I think they started 1-2 last year and got the "ship" turned around. But they definitely don't look as good as last year.
