I can't figure out if it's Poo envy or a crazy obsession as a select few just can't quit bashing them. Heck, they even bash Poo in a car thread. I call that an obsession.

now that there is a good one, especially when YOU are one of a few that was dead set it had never been a problem. Now, I believe if we look back you did admit it was an issue and all Poo did was thicken the skirt and that ain't gonna cut it.
You may or may not be fine and yes, fewer blowups at 2012. I would say your odds are about 50/50, depending on the "Pin it" factor.

Skylar must have engine issues? Not sure but I have not. Quite unprofessional of him as a super moderator to bash and attack a guest. Lenny and I am fine and bet Ezra is too. Get over it that my sled is fine. Geeze! Not all 800's have issues. Same with all brands. This is so stupid.

Wayne, not taking sides buddy but I think YOU are taking this a tad to far. I simple search on the web and you see there WAS a notable number of 800's blowing starting in 09. It does appear the problem is lessening and I believe we all would love to see Poo master this 800 because they would just destroy the market with an big time winner,more so than it is now, and it is already king.
So,,,,,, with that said along with YOU admitting Poo "had" a problem,,,and with YOU admitting YOU are a loyalists, YOU indicate to US that you see this through a set of blinders. Now don't get me wrong Wayne, I have had good fun along with most others here and the thread has been profitable and I enjoy the banter with you, I consider you a friend but after 12 pages of input and opinions you still are telling people who are considering purchasing one "you'll be fine" consider who is telling you about the failures. So basically all who have contributed, all who have had their 800 blow and or knows of someone who had one blow is full of crap? You love Polaris so bad you will throw all us under the bus and say we are unreliable sources and either make this up or spew propaganda? In 2010 we Left the lodge with 5 new poo rmk 800 one 08cat 800 one old poo liberty sled!!!!one poo already had 3 motors before the season was half over the 2 that I was with had less than 300miles on them when we got in that day 3 of the poos had 70psi in both cyl only one of the new sleds still had full psi but that one got a 4th motor by the end of that season......09-11 would not touch one with Ezra money!!!!!one had 4 motors the second one had 3 top ends and the 3rd had 2 top ends the 4th guy we never seen again he went home with sled and bought a new one.....the sled that got 3 top ends before it was sold was one the first poo 800 to blow we had taken and early nov trip west that year Polaris fought them tooth and nail the only good thing was the dealer was fighting the Factory then friends wife got the CEO direct line from someone who worked at plant the first top end was overnighted to the Poo dealer who had it together and ready for trip west by that mon......it blew again that trip.......FYI my next sled is a RMK......so Im not brand blind so don't go there!!!!!

the best part is all them sleds drove out on their own power and the riders barley Knew any issue when riding but headlight flashes and then you check and only has 70psi.....good luck to anyone buying that motor poo blamed everyone including amsoil in 2011!!!then blamed the makers of the pistons.........
the fix is are you ready for this THE FIX FOR THE 09 to 11 800 motor is.........THE GIZMO!!!!poo would not back the gizmo becuse they would have to go back and retro fit every sled they sold with it.......gizmo is tested and proven!!!
