I sit so I can take advantage of the heated seat.

I do question the comments about better control while standing. You ever hit a pile of snow left by two sleds taking off full throttle from a dead stop on a perfectly groomed trail 3 miles strait while doing XXX?

Glad my feet were locked under the toe holds. Actually sheared off a suspension bolt.

Heated seat? I would sit down for that! I have heated running boards so I stand. lol

I thought the seat was just there so I didn't have to sit in the snow to eat my lunch(that I carry in my pack). It also serves as a good place to set my(open face) helmet when I gotta pee! Sometimes when I meet another sled it's fun to pretend like i darted towards them and see if I can make them pinch a mowhawk in their seat with their butt! If I'm the last guy in line I still hold up 1 finger it keeps um' wondering where the next sled is. The best is a group with communicators so fun to mess with and act like I am part of their group. I am terrible I know!

Actually that is when I would prefer to be standing.

but every now and the you may catch me leaning............no not for the curve................just to fart...................

LOL Me too.

But I hate it when that smell makes it all the way up into my helmet. Sometimes takes a few miles for it to get there.

All this talk about standing, sitting, backpacks and garden tools I get it.

But why would someone carry a shovel on them in S.E. WI. when there was maybe 7-8 inches of snow?
I don't know I never been stuck in a farm feild or dicth around there.

I stand most of the time it helps me keep an eye on the little guy in front of me (see pic) I do not need a pack back (see pic#2) that is why we had kids. We also put 50lbs of Lead in his pack to keep his butt in his seat.

I would bet that most of the sit down riders also sit on there a$$ at work all day. The folks that stand probly work on there feet all day. Just a thought but may be true.

I see some that stand with one foot on the running board and one knee across the seat. Whats that all about? Just asking a simple question.

Boys in the house

Sometimes I dont wear underwear when I ride either. Makes me feel more free. I suppose there are some out there that have a problem with that as well?

I wear hanes breafs. My boys need a house. I ride the old way with my fanny on the seat.
