stuff for sale - is everything on facebook now?

Facebook is what you make of it, plain and simple. Its your actions. Its easy to have an account and only to view what you want. For me, I have some basic friends and a ton of snowmobile sites/clubs visible, great way to find out riding conditions and such. You know, you don't have to get...

Is it Ever Going to Snow Again?

Ill give another nod to Blackiron (hes a Chicago guy), good food nice place. We didn't run into any place actually closed due to staffing, or at least the ones we went to. Some places that I like to frequent are Trails End and Anglers Haven on Lac Courte Oreilles, Twin Lakes Pub for some drinks...

Is it Ever Going to Snow Again?

Rode Hayward this past weekend. Definitely thin but rideable. I could have used some scratchers crossing the lakes, the snow is pretty hard. Trail corners were icy but really the trails were in descent shape. Slides might have taken a little beating but they are easily replaceable ! I live in...

    Life without Rodgers

Its one of those darned if you do, darned if you don't situation. Not sure there really is a right decision, just maybe a little "better" decision. I was all for the "all-in" season like they had this year. The regular season was a huge success. Can Packer fans handle a rebuild while Rodgers...

    Vilas County. WI

I am not in Vilas so I can’t comment on it, but I do know a lot of those wisco counties can make good trails out of low snow. It takes a good base and some snow of course but even in low snow years I am amazed at how well the trails can be. Let’s hope sundays storm delivers. I am heading to...

    wisconsin trails now closed

Yeah I’m not sure what they are seeing but to my eyes it’s slim snow.

    Meester Bleezard!

Looking like my first trip (December 16th) might not be too bad! Its been a long off season, ready to ride. The side by side helps scratch the itch but its definitely no snowmobile.

    Electric Snowmobile

In due time these will be a good option for some. Sure there will need to be infrastructure upgrades, it will start with one here and there and slowly change to meet the demands. I can see a small "jerry battery" getting you some distance just in case you run out. Charging speeds will be sped...

2020 Polaris Assault Black tunnel scratch

I have a 2020 850 Polaris Assault with a painted black tunnel. I put 2 scratches on the tunnel putting on a bag earlier this season and looking to fix it up. Any recommendations or ideas that works best? Thanks!

House Rental from early January til end of season (next year)

I am changing the way I do my trips for NEXT YEAR and looking for some input on renting a house in the Mercer area. The plan is to rent a house for a little over 2 months, most likely beginning early January and ending when trails close mid March. Our group has decided to just pull our trailer...

    Fourteen mile point lighthouse

Anyone know of a good way to get to the burned out fourteen mile point lighthouse. My way of getting there in the past is basically impassable this year and I want to take some more novice riders to see it. It’s such a cool point of interest to see. And no, I am not asking for secret off trail...

    Packers and Vikings; Monday Night

Bears have quit on this season, brutal. As far as the pack/Vikes....the spread is 4.5 in favor of the Vikes. I originally picked the Pack to cover the spread but lose. After hearing that Cook will be out I am sticking with pack covering the spread but winning. Should be fun!

    Sled recommendations

After some thought I ended up purchasing the 2020 Assault 850 with all the goodies. I took it up to Mass City area this weekend and really enjoyed it. Trails were hit and miss but that’s what you get for early season riding, no complaints from me. Rode all over from the Mosquito down to...

    Trips for the season

Usually there's a post about sled trips that are planned for the season. I know this should/could be under ride board but thought it would get more traffic here. I have met many on here from these type of posts and I hope to meet and ride with some more this year. So, here's my planned trips...

    Sled recommendations

So, I have been cruising the online sled listings and not jumping on a new sled since I still owned one. I sold it last week and now getting serious. I know I could wait til after the first of the year but I would miss a trip with my three boys and I am not willing to do that. So.....I have...
