I didn't watch the whole game, but I'd say if the defense could hold Buffalo to 20 points in regulation a lose is not their fault. If a quarterback that gets a base salary of 22.5 million this year and is throwing to receivers that everyone says are great can't score more than 20 points in regulation you need to look right there. Cutler did nothing today that caused me to think Chicago did the right thing by signing a new contract with him.

turnovers kill. Jeffrey was out the whole second half and his replacement holmes dropped some huge balls. Marshall sprained an ankle as well but kept playing. His fumble was actually the turning point in the game. Either way that games must win. Poor performance. 2 injuries on the Oline. Dont kno how bad jeffrey injury is. Couldnt have started any worse. Now off to san fran.....not good. Minnesota stands alone atop the north lol.

I bought into the Bears media hype .....big mistake .... 500 team at best....Bills should have been an easy win but to lose to them was a really bad omen for the 2014 season. North will probably kick the crap out of each other with Pack on top. Not much to look forward to with the Da Bears just did not take the next step at least so far. :confused:

Bears only win if their offense scores early and often, the defense will give up a lot points this year. For a so called "high powered" offense only putting 20 points up, yeah that's not exactly not my definition of high powered.

450 yards of offense. Just cant shoot urself in the foot with turnovers. But yea defense gave up to many rush yards. Forte and willie young were the only bright spots.

Yeah the offense definitely moved the ball. Its hard to believe all the yards and only scoring 20 points. Those turnovers will kill ya everytime.

At the end of the day the only stat that matters is Points scored vs Points allowed which results in a W or L. Other stats indicate areas to improve. Cutler same old same old QB Trestman should get rid of him ASAP or go down in flames with him. Cutler is going to give up 6-12 points every game always getting picked since he came to Chicago. There is your pattern lose Cutler build around another QB. Lovie & Tampa at least was exciting fighting down to last second with little expectation.

did you watch josh mccown yesterday? Lol thank god we didnt listen to sum bears fans and keep him. He is junk. Backup at best.

Id dig a little deeper than make these assumptions. After listening to trestman talk. The big play in the 4th quarter that jay thru across the field ala brett favre, santonio holmes was supposed to be running a go route and clearing out the right side of the field for the crossing routes.Instead he was blocking the DB(thought it was a running play) and totally clogged the whole play up. Jay should of thrown it away but on a 3rd down play in a tie game 4th quarter, he instead tried to make play. Injuries to marshall and jeffrey forced some young guys into the game that werent ready. Trestman said the play book was VERY limited and it showed in the 4th quarter. If santonio holmes catches one of those 2 balls he dropped in the 4th quarter jays a hero. Jay made a lot of great plays yesterday haha, lot of plays only few can make, the one bad one was very costly but jay is going no where for 3 years. Its 1 game where everything went wrong. And they still shoulda won. Gota move on and have sum faith man. Heinsight some of trestmans 3rd and 1 calls in the 4th quarter shoulda been runs....and one of those calls cost them the game.

Cutler & Trestman + whoever sank the knife deep in my heart with loss to Bills. At least they slayed me early.... I won't suffer now I expect nothing of Bears even 500 would be good for them. Marshall & Jeffery go down & Bears have nothing behind them & it showed. No depth.... backups me too at best anybody can beat them just doesn't look good for this season. Reality bites!

haha man u give up easy. Welp I dont think anyone saw the top 3 recievers being hurt week 1. That includes wilson. Its not that the guys arent good thats what most fans dont get, its that they have no first team reps or know the playbook well enough to dial it up. The bears went to forte and bennet until the defense of the bills caught on. U cant just stick 3 new guys in their and expect them too feel comfortable like marshall and jeffrey.**** holmes had no clue they audibled to a pass play on the biggest play of the game to that point. All that stuff takes time. It doesnt happen over night. Most people that never played the game dont understand what it takes to click. And the time put in...there are concerns, but minus seattle every team has concerns.

Pack lines next guy up & win even at QB when Rogers went down. Bears showed they can't do that for whatever reasons so won't go far. Bears should have been able to beat Bills a 6-10 team no problem & can't afford to lose these easier games. Maybe 8/8 at best going 500 in divison just does not look good in light of day just a so/so team when all is said & done.

Better to have no to little expection for Bears. As hard as I try I just can't see winning season in this team's DNA. D may get better but Bills ran all over them. Bears need to draft young gun QB with legs to make things happen build around him. Cutler good #2 but SB not in his future with Bears. More same old same old this season..... Oh was that another Cutler pick 6.... It will happen next game just never will change the die has been cast.....lol

cutler a #2 QB. Comon. U can not like him, but the guys a starter, period. Good thing emery is our GM and not u haha, we'd still have mccown. U make it sound like drafting a QB is easy. Yea just get a young guy and build around him lol. Lot easier said than done. Cutler had the 8th best QBR in the league last year. And if it wasnt for that lions game where he thru 4 pics and 4 tds its even better. If he has a bad season then ill admit he is a poor player, but whats stuck in ur head is that last pick where everything went wrong, and cutler takes the blame, rightfully so as it was a broken play shoulda tossed it in the stands, but no one talks about the recievers mistakes. If jeffreys in the game ur praising cutler now.

And the packers didnt win when rodgers went down. They were 6-2 with him 2-5-1 without him. The bears didnt lose last year cause QB play especially the last game of the year, it was clearly the historicly bad defense and this year could be the same. If their record is poor, it wont be because of the qb play, but the QB gets all the credit and all the blame unless ur rodgers, he never gets blamed haha. Hes like kevin durant, he never gets blamed when they lose either. But if lebron loses OMG he sux and is a choke artist. Its the same thing. The media loves rodgers, hes a good guy.

They actually talked about this. It didnt matter if she wanted to press charges or not. Once it got to the states attorney it was completely their descision to press charges or not according to espns legal analyst. So they let him off the hook for whatever reason. Hard to believe they didnt see that video 6 months ago.
