The media loves rodgers, hes a good guy.

Being a good guy is not something I've ever heard about Cutler. I've given my opinion on him in the past and I don't think he will ever be a winner. I'm trying to come up with positives about Cutler but just can't. He's not a team player IMO.

Unfortunately none of us are in the locker room to truly know. But his team mates swear by him and emery never woulda payed him if he and trestman didnt think he was a team player. Cutler didnt get along with old coaches that killed him with 7 step drops and no Oline, like mike martz. Rodgers was publicly reported to have disputes with coaches and recievers dogging him, but the media and everyone loves him so that goes in one ear and out the other. Dont get me wrong rodgers is much better, but he is like invincable with criticism. No one will do it but a few. But He isnt perfect. Just look at his 4th quarter rating and interceptions.... more than normal for him. No one talks about it but colin cowherd. He is also 0-19 when trailing a better than .500 team going into the 4th quarter by 7 points or less. Hes great but no one will criticize him. Kinda like jordan, media imortality, no one talks about all his misses.

cutler a #2 QB. Comon. U can not like him, but the guys a starter, period. Good thing emery is our GM and not u haha, we'd still have mccown. U make it sound like drafting a QB is easy. Yea just get a young guy and build around him lol. Lot easier said than done. Cutler had the 8th best QBR in the league last year. And if it wasnt for that lions game where he thru 4 pics and 4 tds its even better. If he has a bad season then ill admit he is a poor player, but whats stuck in ur head is that last pick where everything went wrong, and cutler takes the blame, rightfully so as it was a broken play shoulda tossed it in the stands, but no one talks about the recievers mistakes. If jeffreys in the game ur praising cutler now.

And the packers didnt win when rodgers went down. They were 6-2 with him 2-5-1 without him. The bears didnt lose last year cause QB play especially the last game of the year, it was clearly the historicly bad defense and this year could be the same. If their record is poor, it wont be because of the qb play, but the QB gets all the credit and all the blame unless ur rodgers, he never gets blamed haha. Hes like kevin durant, he never gets blamed when they lose either. But if lebron loses OMG he sux and is a choke artist. Its the same thing. The media loves rodgers, hes a good guy.

If you want to buy into Bears are better than they played Bills ok with me.... 49ers are next & are weaker team than last year..... lots of new players replaced via their loss in free agents. Either way Bears have to beat 49ers to get to playoffs. So will Bears be 1-1 or 0-2? If they are better than Bills showing time to do it but I highly doubt it..... like I said low expectation until Bears can show me on the field that the team is a winner.

im worried about the team too. Buts if the seasons a failure. Ya can't simply point the finger at one man. Plain and simple. Its much more than that.

This week is not must win. If they lose , week 3 prolly is. They are prolly gona lose this week. But should play better. I see that read option really being tuff for us to stop. To win, it will prolly have to be a track meet, 34-31 or something.

If the bears are 4-4 after 8 games and mostly healthy they should be fine. The second half of schedule is much more favorable being at home for most of it. And could easily yield a 6-2 finish. Especially with wilson coming back.

10 Quick Reasons Why*Marc Trestman Should Take The Blame For Sunday’s Loss not Jay Cutler.

10. Jay Cutler’s 49 pass attempts.*He has never thrown that many times*as a member of the Chicago Bears.

9. Brian De La Puenta, Michael Ola, Kyle Long and Jermon Bushrod were all graded out as top 10 lineman, at their position, from Sunday’s game. The Chicago Bears ranked #2 in run blocking for the entire NFL in week 1.

8. Matt Forte averaged 4.8 yards per carry during the game.

7. Matt Forte was also the leading receiver, why continue to throw?

6. Jay Cutler described the huddle as “chaos” when the receivers got injured, clearly the team wasn’t ready to have the backups play.

5. The Chicago Bears ranked 5th in penalties for week 1 with a score of -2.2.

4. The Chicago Bears did not run the football one time during the overtime period. Cutler went three and out, three incompletions.

3. The Chicago Bears ranked 25th in special teams for week 1. A problem the coaches knew would poke it’s head out.

2. The Chicago Bears had the 10th ranked defense for week 1 according to Pro Football Focus, Trestman’s offense needed more points.

1. You ready for this…? The Buffalo Bills graded out as a*-21.6 for their opening day defense, worst in the entire league for week 1. Yet the*offense could only squeeze out 20 points?

This loss is on you coach. Let’s move on and get ready for San Francisco.

Turnovers will kill any team. Coaches are not on the field - they do not turn the ball over. Whitedust - it could be worse. You could be a Redskins fan or a Cowboys fan or a Giants fan or a St Louis fan. And what if the Pats lose to the Vikes? If you were a Pats fan you would probably jump off a cliff. For both the Pack and Bears way too many injuries too early in the season. Many times football injuries linger on for the whole season. No time to heal. It is a game of attrition.

Bears win as a team & lose as a team....Trestman has been out coached many times nothing new...Emery spent big bucks on free agents that should improve the team.... team performance expectations went way up with power ratings & hype ....first game with Bills was awful....Cutler picked again & again.... If the Bears are improved they need to show it Sunday night playing 49ers..... No falling behind by 21 or so then losing 38 to 28 making up points when game long lost. I have seen this pattern far too often. :(

Trestman did not throw a single interception, I checked! LOL Someone has way too much time on their hands.

Its takes a ton of time to hit copy and then paste lolololol

Remember just 2 games ago jay cutler out played aaron rodgers in one of the biggest games of his career. Giving them the lead at the end and over coming that bogus fumble play that the pack scored on. If its not for the worst defense i have ever seen and a missed delay of game call on 4th and 8, hes a hero instead of the villain again. Win or lose this niner game should show if jay is a big player. Even if they lose cause we cant stop the read option, he needs to play sound. No doubt.

I'm not a Packer fan, but there is no comparison between Rodgers and Cutler. They still lost the game and that's what matters. For every good game like above (a loss), Cutler has had 10 games that he played poorly, yelled at teammates, pouted on the sideline like an 8 year old and wouldn't talk to anyone or couldn't finish the game due to an injury. You are right, we don't see what goes on in the locker room, but we do on the field and that's all we can go by.

There isnt a comparison, im not saying he is better, because he is NOT, but that game he was better, no question.

Jay cutler has a tuffer job than any QB in the NFL. And the first 3 minutes of this video explains that. Love for any person who ever critisizes, to take a look in the mirror and walk a day in his shoes.

Plain and simple, Bears offense has to score and put up good numbers. Their defense will not keep them in any games. So cutler has a lot of pressure to score. The days of conservative offense and let the D win it for ya are over.

there is a reason they call the monday after week 1, Over reaction Monday. Exactly what everyone is doing across the nfl. Good or bad.

We are both Bear fans & I thought DA Bears were ready to take the next step....With Lovie the Bears were exciting always in the game with Trest not so much too many blow outs & the D is awful. Emery blew the budget on D & Trest has the O racking up yards but no points & too many turnovers has been the pattern. The back ups should have been ready to play & they were not. Power rankings fell off because team weakness will not be turned around in 1 week.....maybe little by little but not in time for 49ers so 0-2 looks unavoidable. Maybe 0-3 ...could be 0-4... just not looking good unless Bears upset 49ers possible but not probable.

Anyone want to re-thing their prediction to the NFC North... SKOAL!

Haha.....NO!

Vikes still going to finish last.
Detroit, looked pretty good. But granted, they played a team that is Terrible(notice the capital T) on offense, and just bad on defense. They might give the bears a run for second in the division.
I didn't see the bears game, but bills have a good D. The bills have a bad offense. Sure they can run, but bad WRs and QB. Bears defense is obviously not that improved. Just stop the run, bills can't beat you through the air.
Packers got schooled. Offense and defense. By the best coached team in NFL. Every Seahawk player did their job. Every player executed. Until they get lazy, no reason to think any team will beat them. I would expect the packers to figure it out in a hurry on offense. The offense doesn't like being embarrassed. The defense, says they don't like being embarrassed, but has yet to prove it.

too many blow outs? I can remember one...philly last year, out of 17 games. Too many turnovers lmao? They were pretty good on TOs last year, think they had 22 give aways which was close to top. I think seattle had the least with 17. One game against bills yea, no good, every team has those games. Ur talking 0-4 haha ur over reacting biggie time. Lmao talkin bout lovie, smh. The NFL evolved and lovie just wasnt with it. Did u see he had every chance to beat carolina. At home, cam newton out of game and DEREK ANDERSON starting with no recievers and they get lit up even if they made a little comback at the end. Remember the last time lovie went to san fran with jason cambell? Or played the pats in the snow game? Those were blowouts.

Your boyish enthusiasm is undeniable..lol...We shall see on Sunday.... Game 1 is game 1 & I don't have high expectations from what I have seen so far but it is a 16 game regular season so still time for improvement we shall see how it goes in Game 2.
