BAHAHAHAHA, I run Sea and Snow, AND 87 octane, with ethanol in it, no issues. Once again you open your mouth and removed all doubt how ignorant you are.
Not holding his hand. Just don't understand the ignorant comment. That could only come from ignorance itself.
Davey Davey Davey, where'd that come from? Are you ticked about this discussion? This is only a discussion but why are people being threatened about talking about a problem. All we're trying to do is shed a little light on the topic.
Wayne, I am interested in buying one of these Poo 800's so taking a serious look at peoples experiences is a good thing to do, don't try an make it a bad thing,,,,bud!
Dave, so you believe poo has no problems with the 800's and it's all the riders fault for some reason, fuel, break-in, riding to hard,,,bla bla bla. You must believe that the guys who have repaired therr motor with these "fix kits" have just dreamed up the problem and it just went away with new and better pistons. I have a 94 dodge cummings truck with the original trans and often people ask me how many trans has it had and I tell them it is still the original and their shocked. Dodge is known for trans issues in those older years but I like the truck and take the risk as I may do with a Poo. Whatever works for each individual is key here and no one is wrong for the decision they make if they make it informed,,and that has been my intentions for posting on this thread. By the way,,remember,,the Mtn Max was the sled that filled your helmet with brown snow,,and it can happen again!
Just a joke on the Mtn Max. I was still cleaning dirt out of the Dragon when I sold it!
Not ticked about the discussion and no, I do not think the 800's are without problems but I loved it's power and would buy another one, like I said, if it was in the budget.
I just don't understand the concept of buying a brand new product only to instantly void the warranty by tearing it down.
My main point was, how many people actually do this? And why would they? Just can't comprehend that I guess. Maybe it's just the fact that I don't have the knowledge, guts and or tools to pull something like that off on such a complicated machine. The guy that bought my Dragon rebuilds these and pwc's for a living and he even threw in the towel on it and is now parting it out. That was a 2009.
If you want to learn first hand info on the new 800's, I suggest you call Wayne direct. Comments seem to always be misinterpreted here and never seem to come across the way they were intended. You misunderstanding where I was coming from is a perfect example, and we know each other!
