Alright Jim! I will agree on a 200 mile day on the rail road grades I may want to run a Phazer into a tree at 100 miles but in a tight twisty trail the Phazer is a pretty quick sled and there's plenty of room to throw it around so I'll pass on your 200 mile day, but I'll take a ride with you through the Freda loop any day! When there's no room for top speed the Phazer is a fun little sled!
Now enough about the Phazer...let's hope the Rush is back on the trail SOON!

heck, make it to 20k! that's pretty sweet, ever touch the clutches? Typically, something in the suspension breaks on each and every one of my dads old indy trails he's had in the past around 10k.
just curious, is it a carb or efi?
Never said I wanted to put a full day riding it, just that it CAN keep up with big sleds IF your not on the railroad grades. At last years 2011 dealer ride in for Yamaha I was able to keep up with Apex but that's in northern WI's tight twisty and very icy trails so everybody was spinning like crazy. When we did hit a straight stretch they left me standing still(obviously). Fun little sled if you ride aggressive and like everything, it has it's place. Is it junk? Far from it. And as far as what my riding style is? Trails are not involved.

Not trying to be a d-bag here, but my nephews kitty cat can keep up with a Apex in the twistys. There is not one Yamaha on the market than can keep up with good riders on 2s in the twistys. We have proven this time and time again.
I know I know, some yamaha diehards will call BS. We are open to any and all FRIENDLY challenges. And before anyone gets their undies in a bunch, we have some one way trails, and some private trails in our area. No innocent people are gonna be in harms way.

edit: of course if our 2s blow up I wont eat crow but Ill buy lunch.

Im sorry but I told them guys if it wasent for the new rider that came along I would not have even wanted to go out and ride sunday. when I get my rush back you ready for a trip chad? my treat northern wi. No, I am no pro, and I enjoyed my weekend in the yoop. I am not trying to bash anybody, Im just not a fan of yamaha suspension. No biggie. I am prolly the slowest guy in the group(other than the new guy..haha).
It 2 totally different styles of riding, as Im sure you know. Twistys in WI, deep pow in the yoop. And I will be the first to tell you, I suck in POW riding. I stopped at a powerline south of TL, and made a complete mules rear off myself trying to think I could ride in the fluff. First somewhat steep ravine I got to, I ended up spending 20 mins at the bottom trying to figure out how to get back to the top. And Im sure you guys that know what your doing in that stuff woulda just laughed your butts of at me.
And dont let that young punk, littlewagner talk chit either, he was stuck right next to me....lmao.
Sorry if I came off like a punk, that wasnt my intention. Different styles of riding for different areas.

^^^^^^^this is true I have has a red hiney many times in my day^^^^^^^^but I will race any one I have DB buds who refuse to race if they think they are going to get beat *** is up with that yeah I want to drop an extra 4 to 10 g in to a sled just to race guys I know I can win against I give them crap all the time.My fav is lining up some one drop a glove you go next thing you know the guy let off after 75 ft because he was getting his ars kicked if you start fininsh.the last thing is happening around LK minnetonka every other race and yo puusy's know who you are
