LOL! All in good fun fella's! And I've always loved that line to humble people..."he's the best there ever was...just ask him"! And guy's...I'm not as fast as I once was! Or as I usually tell people...in my LIGHTER years.

SO! What's the latest on the Rush? We've done high jacked this thread.

No word on the rush yet.. Im still waiting. Will prolly stop up tomorrow and check it out. Thanks Ted for getting back on track. The rest of you punks can go back to your computer rider... especially you srt.

I ride a 650 lb Apex. If it is low on gas. Apexes are not for the twisties. Apexes are for wide groomed trails and lakes. If I were going to race a 20 year old guy through the twisties I would not choose an Apex. Actually I would hire another 20 year old guy to do it for me. Sledding is unique because a person can do it for many years. You just have to change your ride. We are all snowmobilers here. We are all at different levels of rider abilities and what we each think is important at whatever stage we are at. If I were 20 I would love to have the lightest nastiest 2 smoker out there. Been there done that. But as I age other features become more important. All you young guys have fun - wish I was your age again. But I am an old sno-geezer now. Thankfully there is something for all of us. Hope the Rush isn't too bad. Think snow.

Well put grub, the reel challenge would be to put the young dudes on the older sleds of the 80's and see if they think they know how to ride. Todays sleds can make the poorest rider into an expert, which is more safe for the rest of us on the trails. Would like to know the update on the rush also.

btw, little wanger is supposed to get his Rush back tuesday. Maybe he will get on here and explain the whole ordeal.

Wow srt and willie r crazys!! OK deal on the rush... let me give you a run down of before The trip. I took the sled into my dealer to get the machine gone threw. Spent 3-400 dollars. I got the machine back went to fill it with oil an notice the sensor in the exhaust was not put back in. Put the sensor back in and put the side panel back on. Loaded sled on trailer and off to the U.P we went. Unloaded drove prolly 50-60 miles and it burnt down.. Dealer calls today said it was to much snow dust and that the hood did not seal with the air box and moisture got it. They told me since they did not know who had the hood off last.. (they did when I had them look it over) They would split it 50/50. I do have warrenty but they said it will not cover it. So I was upset... I went to the skidoo dealer and picked out a new etec.. Went to my dealer to get things straight before I go sign papers for the new sled... Told them my frustration and that I would be purchasing a skidoo. Next thing I knew dealer was on their knee's and now darn near getting the sled back at little to no cost... The more I think about it Ill bed Tedsdead got jelious and decided to mess with my rush... He is one of them computer racers and does not like when he gets beat on the trails... I now no longer ride with ted due to friendship issues.. He threw my best friends number out the window up around twin lakes area and I have not heard from him since.. I now moved on to bigger and better riders like Willis.
