I feel I lost some brain cells here.
You're not kidding! Even for the xxxl's. Tried some, 4x's included, and they were as comfortable as sticking your head into a cement block!
Didn't read all the threads because I was getting a headache. I am going to be 62 years old soon and I just bought my first 800, it is an 2013 800 Polaris Adventure. I was going to wait and get a used sled next winter but came across this sled, which was a snow check option in 2013.I picked the sled up in May so it has no miles on it yet.
I have always had 600's with no problems, current sled was 2009 600 switchback with 4300 miles on it. Running original belt and original hyfax that looks like new.
Reading all the threads about Polaris's 800 has me somewhat concerned if I did the right thing, I like boon docking when I can but most miles are on trail. Guess time will tell.
I have a friend in our snowmobile club and he has a 2012 800 Pro R that he put 4300 miles on last year and loves it, so all the talk about 800's blowing up is somewhat confusing to me.
Thanks for listening.
That's what she said.
