A group of friends will be riding out of Twin Lakes next week and I advised them to check on the current status of TR109. A month ago the reports here was that the trail had not been groomed thus was really bad which led to suggestions that the trail be closed. Any change?

The FR's are no longer legal to ride as there is no longer a minimum of 4" of snow. Even though some FR's have 6-10" of snow, there are FR's exposed to the sun where there is less than 4" and an occassional bare spot. Here are a few pics of my short, but illegal ride today.
